Get to Know Sam Antoon, DMD
Dr. Antoon has been practicing dentistry since 1990, dedicating himself to staying up to date with the newest clinical skills and technologies through rigorous continuing education. Of course, great patient care is about much more than just modernized tools, he knows – he also takes the time to build lasting relationships with patients that are based on mutual trust and open communication. Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1986, Dr. Antoon chose to stay at Southern Illinois University’s School of Dental Medicine to achieve his doctorate. He also attended a one-year Graduate Practice Residency. After spending a handful of years in a group practice setting, he opened Antoon Family Dental over two decades ago! Today, he is a current member of the following dental organizations:
- American Dental Association
- Texas Dental Association
- Fourth District Dental Society
What is Your Favorite Part of Being a Dentist?
Simply getting to know people and chatting about what’s going on in their lives throughout appointments is a joy for Dr. Antoon. He loves giving everyone who settles into his treatment chair a great smile – after all, healthier, happier teeth can change a person’s life in ways that expand far beyond just confidence!
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he isn’t busy at his practice, Dr. Antoon enjoys spending quality time with his family. His other personal hobbies include working out, cooking, swimming, and traveling whenever possible.
